Crossing the Finish Line is a charity for which RavenWood Creative does pro-bono design work. It’s a charity close to the heart of Tim Ernst, RavenWood Creative’s founder as he went to school with Peter Bossow, Jr., the founder and inspiration behind the charity. CFL likes to use images of the people they help, called sailors, and other nautical imagery that isn’t too far over the top. Peter a sailor and rower inspired the theme of the charity and it’s logo and other marketing materials reflect it as much as possible.
Amber Gruver, Development Coordinator for CFL had this to say about the postcard project, “We really, really love it. To be honest, we were a little bit negative about this top 10 because it didn’t seem to sparkle like the other ones when we wrote it out – then we sent it to you, you worked your magic, and it’s so perfect now! We’re so grateful for your talent and for the fact that you can take something so simple and make it so fitting for our purpose.”
